Kōnan Ryū
Karate Rensei Kai © is
an organisation created in 2016 by Yogi Josei
sensei for the practice of Kōnan Ryū Karate. The Kōnan
Ryū school was created by the master Itokazu Seiki sensei and it is an offshoot school of the Pangainūn (Uechi Ryū) style and has many similarities to it. |

This is the Japanese reading of the Chinese characters for the name of the kenpō style, learnet by
the teacher Uechi Kanbun in
China, and that was called Pangainūn (Han Kō Nan, in Japanese), which is translated as Half
hard - Half soft. The style Pangainūn was
renamed Uechi-ryū in 1940 by Uechi Kanei, son of Uechi Kanbun. |
