The emblem used by Yogi sensei for Kōnan
Ryū Karate Rensei Kai © and Okinawa Kobudō Rensei Kai © is the same. The emblem represents a
tree with two trunks at its base, both growing towards the sun, while expanding
its branches laterally, all thanks to its solid root. The emblem is a symbol of
the practice of karate and kobudō, which must always be based on a solid
foundation (roots) to achieve the ultimate goal, which is represented by the
sun, and consists of forming good people through the forging of character
through the practice. At the same time, there
is a commitment to extending the practice of both disciplines to other
people, just as trees extend their branches. |
